What is relative dating?

This process is finding out if a fossil, artefact or sedimentary layer is older or younger in comparison to other fossils, artefacts or sedimentary layers which are used to put fossils in order of age without knowing the actual age.


The examples of relative dating methods which you need to know include stratigraphy and fluorine dating.
